What influences the quality of specialty coffees?
Specialty coffee is of such high quality because of the utmost care given to the beans throughout the process.
The following activities are carried out on the plantation :
- Manual harvesting , which prevents picking of unripe fruit and rejection of fruit with defects
- Multi-stage quality control by farmers
- Grains from such plantations are often ordered directly , which affects the remuneration of farmers' work and further investments in the quality of crops.
- The grains are so-called single origin ("single source") - they guarantee a unique taste for the country they come from, because they are not mixed with grains from other countries
